The Snyder County Housing Authority is accepting applications for rental assistance through its Housing Choice Voucher Program (“Section 8”). If you live or work in either county, you qualify for a preference. Through a Shared Jurisdiction Agreement with the Housing Authority of Union County, Voucher holders are able to find suitable housing in either Snyder or Union Counties but are administered through the Snyder County Housing Authority. Our waiting list is very low, so apply now!
The Snyder County Housing Authority is also accepting applications for SHADE VIEW APARTMENTS, Middleburg, PA. We currently have vacancies for ALL Bedroom sizes, based on family size. We have 1, 2, 3, & 4 bedroom apartments available.
Applications MUST BE PICKED UP at our office. They are available in the forms box located outside of our office at 106 Drake Court, Middleburg, PA 17842.

Rental Unit Need Repairs? Snyder County was awarded Whole Home Repair Funds for renter-occupied units in Snyder County. Landlords cannot own more than five properties or have more than 15 rental units. There will be a 15-year loan forgiveness as long as the landlord agrees to rent to low income persons through the Snyder County Housing Choice Voucher Program.
